VISUAL ARTS
All artwork must be completed before convention and must have a recognizable classical theme. They must be original products and should have been completed during the current school year. Only delegates who are present at the convention and who are properly registered may submit entries. Delegates may enter as many visual arts contests as they wish, but may only have ONE entry per contest. (e.g. one charcoal, one ink, one pastel, one game, etc.)

Visual Arts categories include Painting & Drawing, Handicraft, Cartoons & Greeting Cards, Photography, and Posters/Charts/Maps. Each entry must include a separate sheet of 8.5x11 inch paper indicating the delegate's name, school, city, name of teacher, grade level, Latin level, approximate dates of construction, and a description of materials used. A teacher's signature is required to verify that the entry is the sole work of the entrant, that the student is attending the convention, and that the work was completed during the current school year.

A 3x5 inch index card should be attached to the entry with the title or description of the project, the category, the entrant's grade level, and if applicable, an English translation of the Latin. The source of pictures, kits, and patterns or purchased parts must also be included.
